Inspire LIVE event: Talk by Senior Director of Innovation at UPS, Jack Levis

We are delighted that Jack Levis (Senior Director of Innovation) is delivering a keynote address on Innovation in Fleet Management at our summit at 8:15 AM on Tuesday 4 October. This is part of the AMCS Inspire series designed to generate insights, inspiration and innovation.

Jack was the business owner and process designer for UPS’ Package Flow Technology suite of systems which includes its award-winning optimization, ORION (On Road Integrated Optimization and Navigation). These tools have been a breakthrough change for UPS, resulting in a reduction of 225 million miles driven each year.

Jack’s keynote address is entitled: Ten Steps to Innovation – Math and Psychology – learning from data and people. It will provide insights into how UPS applied a data driven approach to fleet maintenance and supported it with a program to engage staff to adopt new technologies. It promises to be a very insightful and stimulation discussion. He will provide insights into how UPS used data to move from preventative to predictive maintenance to deliver higher vehicle uptime and lower maintenance costs.
